I came here for lunch today. It's a small restaurant with about half of the seating at the counter and the other half table. I sat at the counter, as I was by myself. The place was clean. The service was top notch. There were two waitresses, both were extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations. The kitchen was also very fast. I ordered the carne asada, which came with red beans/rice and maduros. The carne asada had a unique seasoning, which was excellent. Nice and tender and perfectly cooked (medium). The red beans/rice had a little bit of spice and the maduros were perfect. They also brought out chips with a tomatillo salsa. The salsa was sweeter than I like, but very flavorful. I ate all the steak, but only half of the sides. The portions are huge. I finished off with a Cafe Cubano. The total bill was 11.24 and 3 more for tip. Great deal for such an excellent lunch.

Saw some friends posting pictures and decided to come here the biggest mistake ever. The place is shit hole small not enough seating and the stuff SUCKS!! I am gonna say the food is pretty good. We were greeted and told we could sit anywhere but they didn't even try to find sitting for us. Not enough sitting for us (only 4 of us). Never again will we come back. Oh before I forget check your receipt because they will charge you different from what's on the menu.

the food is delicious, but the service sucks. Waitress has no communication at all with the customer, once they serve you the food good luck you're on your own because you won't see her again she'll be busy talking with coworkers behind the counter

Not the most visually appealing restaurant but the food is so authentic and delicious. The Pupusas are huge!

I've past this place for nearly 4 years and never thought twice based on location and outside looks. But once you enter they have two areas to be seated, the first area you see is more of the old school classic style I assume salvorians are used to back home, but entering the room to the right is very nice and updated. Had churrasco which was good wand the Gallo pinto which was way too salty, also had the Sopa de res which was also really good. Recently we had breakfast there and it delicious but it was too much food for one person :) Good food and affordable prices.

Excellent food affordable and lots of food served. They have salvadorean and Cuban food. Small place but the food is good. Family friendly. Kareoke on the weekends. Over all a good place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner for a really good price.

I'm from El Salvador and I take my pupusas a little serious! In my opinion, my mom and grandmother make the best pupusas in the world. That being said, these are not bad at all. This place is not a place to take your girlfriend on the first date or make a good first impression. It's the kind of place that, takes time to get use too. If you can get past the mess, the restaurant would be a 4 star. Not everyone has the money to start a business like a TGIF. It's a humble place and reminds me that good food is good no matter where it resides. The place is a wreck the bathrooms are scary; definitely not a good first impression, but nonetheless the service and the food is good. The prices are insanely cheap compared to other Salvadorian restaurants in town. La carne asada portions are huge at around $8 dollars; can't beat that!. My favorite is the Pupusas de Queso con loroco with orchata. This place is A-ok.
